The “Stork Club” was a night club in New York between 1929 and 1965. From 1934 it was located in number 3 East 53rd Street, East from the 5th Avenue. The building was demolished in 1966 and the location is currently occupied by Paley Park.
From the end of the ban in 1933 until the beggining of the 60's, the club was a symbol in the city. Movie stars, dancers, aristocrats, the famous and the rich, met there. Other famous clubs shared the sophistication (Morocco) and the sport stars of the time (Toots Shor’s Restaurant). But the Stork Club was the epitome.
The Club was established in 1929 in 132 West 58th Street until its closure by the ban agents the 22nd of december 1931. It then moved to East 51st Street for three years. Between 1934 until its final closure the 4th of October 1965, shone in number 3 53rd Street.
Nearly 45 years later, we want to bring back part of the recipe which made the original Stork Club a legend: The best drinks, a careful selection of worldwide delicacies, accompanied by the best service and attention. All of this in the company of good music, now at everybodys reach in Madrid, one of the most cosmopolite cities.
See you in Latina (2 Mancebos Street).
